Frequently Asked Questions
GA55 (General Accounts Form 55) is the annual salary statement generated for Rajasthan government employees through the IFMS 3.0 (Integrated Financial Management System) portal at ifms.rajasthan.gov.in. It contains monthly salary components (Basic Pay, DA, HRA, allowances) and deductions (GPF, RGHS, LIC, TDS) for a financial year.
GA55A is the reformatted summary version of the GA55 data — a consolidated salary and deduction statement that DDOs use for income tax computation and Form 16 preparation. This tool converts the GA55 PDF into a print-ready GA55A format automatically.
Your data is 100% private. This tool uses PDF.js to parse the PDF entirely in your browser's memory. No file, no salary data, and no personal information (PAN, name, account number) is ever transmitted to any server. You can even use this tool while offline after the page has loaded.
- Go to ifms.rajasthan.gov.in and log in with your Employee ID and password.
- Navigate to Employee Corner → GA55.
- Select the Financial Year (e.g., 2025-26).
- Click Download / Print to save the GA55 as a PDF.
- Upload that PDF to this tool's Step 1 section above.
Under the New Regime for FY 2025-26, salaried employees can claim:
- Standard Deduction u/s 16: ₹75,000
- Employer's NPS contribution u/s 80CCD(2): Up to 14% of basic salary (for government employees)
- Sec 10(14) allowances: Specific allowances like transport allowance for differently-abled employees
- Family Pension Deduction u/s 57: One-third of pension or ₹15,000, whichever is lower
- House Property Loss: Loss from let-out property (not self-occupied)
Deductions like 80C (PPF, LIC premium, ELSS), 80D (medical insurance), HRA exemption, and Leave Travel Allowance are not available under the New Regime.
Marginal relief ensures that the tax payable does not exceed the income that exceeds the rebate threshold. For FY 2025-26, if your net taxable income is between ₹12,00,001 and approximately ₹12,70,000, the tax payable is limited to the amount by which your income exceeds ₹12,00,000. This tool automatically calculates marginal relief when applicable.
The tool auto-fills TDS from the GA55 PDF if explicit TDS line items are available. If the PDF does not contain a separate TDS column, it estimates TDS by distributing the projected annual liability across months. You should always verify TDS figures against your monthly salary slips and adjust the TDS inputs manually in Step 3 if needed.
